Week after week, you’ll learn the tunes, bowing styles, and ornamentation that make Hungarian folk music come alive — from the slow, soulful ballads to the fiery dance tempos that set feet moving. Then, when summer arrives, you’ll bring your music to Tücsök— where the tunes you’ve practiced all year will weave into the soundtrack of camp. You’ll play for dancers under the open sky, jam with fellow musicians, and feel the thrill of being part of something bigger than yourself.
